I want to be left alone! But God said, No you don't.
I want to hide away! But God said, No you can't.
I want to be someone else! But God said, No you wouldn't.
I want to sleep it all away! But God said, No you shouldn't.
I want to ignore my loved ones! But God said, No you couldn't.
So I chose not to be alone. Because God said, I made you to feel alive.
I didn't hide away. Because God said, I made you to thrive.
I then just wanted to be myself. Because God said, I accept you as you are.
And then I stopped ignoring loved ones. Because God said, love is the greatest gift by far!!
